The Emu was a very good model, so we took quite a few pictures of him. He had a very striking blue neck that made him very pretty. These are all of the same Emu. (Edward maybe?) . . .

This lovely stork was in the cage with the Okapis (Giraffe relative). He was standing so still being a good model, so I took several pictures. I just love how his head has that fuzzy look. . . .

These pictures were taken in the big Lorikeet room at Lowry Park Zoo. They have several bird houses throughout the zoo. You can purchase nectar to feed them and they will hop on your hand. . . .
